PinThis

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026

1. Who we are

PinThis (pinthis.bid) is operated by an individual based in Argentina. This policy explains what data we collect from Creators and Bidders, why, and who we share it with. Questions can be sent to pinthis@leadslab.digital.

2. Data we collect

Account: your email address and chosen username.

Profile: display name, bio, profile and cover images, website, your X (Twitter) handle, follower/following counts, and content preferences (blocked topics, guidelines). If you connect your X account via OAuth, we read your public name, bio, profile picture, and follower/following counts directly from X to verify you own the handle and to fill these fields — we never request access to post, message, or act on your behalf.

Payout details: if you receive payouts as a Creator, the payment handle you provide (e.g. MercadoPago alias/CVU, PayPal email, Deel, Wise, or Payoneer account). These are visible only to the PinThis administrator, used solely to send you your earnings.

Bids and transactions: if you place a bid, we collect your name, email, bid amount, and the tweet content you submit for publication (text and, optionally, an image URL and a link).

Support requests: the email and message you submit through the in-app support widget.

Basic analytics: aggregate, non-identifying page-view analytics via Vercel Analytics.

3. How we use it

  • Operate auctions, bids, and the resulting publication workflow.
  • Process payments and payouts through our payment providers.
  • Verify ownership of an X handle when you choose to connect it.
  • Send transactional emails (login links, bid and payment notifications, receipts).
  • Respond to support requests.
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the platform.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Who we share it with

We share data with the service providers that make PinThis work, and only as needed for them to perform their function:

  • MercadoPago and Lemon Squeezy — payment processing.
  • X (Twitter) — only if you choose to connect your account via OAuth, to read your public profile data.
  • Resend — delivery of transactional emails.
  • Railway and MongoDB Atlas — application hosting and database storage.
  • Vercel — frontend hosting and basic analytics.

A Creator's public profile (display name, bio, images, stats, active auction) is visible to anyone who visits their PinThis page — that's the point of the product. Payout details are never shown publicly.

Some of these providers process data on servers outside Argentina. By using PinThis you consent to this transfer, which is necessary to provide the service.

5. Data retention

We keep account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7), subject to records we're required to keep for completed payments.

6. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and passwordless authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection against every possible attack.

7. Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your profile information directly from your dashboard. To request full account deletion, a copy of your data, or to ask any question about how it's used, contact pinthis@leadslab.digital.

8. Children

PinThis involves real payments and is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under 18 years old.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
